As-salam Alaikum,

As a parent living in America for the last 20 years, I can speak for many that raising our children in the West comes with many challenges. One of those challenges is the difficulty to find adequate schools where our children are nurtured both academically and spiritually. That’s why as a concerned father, I founded the American Dara Academy. ADA is an international Islamic boarding school for boys and girls in Dakar, Senegal. Here, everyone, from the governing board to the teaching staff to the custodial personnel is striving to provide a robust holistic education that blends Qur’anic education to a flexible US Curriculum.

So I’m excited to start working with your kids, but most importantly I’m looking forward to the work we ‘re going to do together. As the old African proverb says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Indeed, with the help of Allah S.W.T. and your collaboration, I’m confident that we will raise strong Muslim children who will find success in their careers, lead exemplary lives, and achieve happiness in the afterlife.
